Park Ave. North,NYC

Park Ave

Dusk, looking south from about 53rd St. towards Met Life and Grand Central Terminal, which is behind Met Life. Helmsle,y Building is in front of Met Life. Met Life, originally the Pan Am, was designed by New York City architect Emery Roth & Sons with consultants Walter Gropius and Pietro Belluschi,1963.  I doubt that Belluschi had much involvement as he was too good an architect for this building design. Helmsley Building, once New York Central Building, dates to 1929 and was done by the architect of Grand Central Terminal, Warren and Wetmore, also NYC architects, and very good ones.
