Spanish Revival in Chevy Chase

These three houses are adjacent to each other.  I presume they were done by the same architect and developer, with sufficient variation that the middle class or upper middle class potential buyers would not be feel that they were buying cookie cutter houses.  And given the Spanish Revival style, they were probably inspired by the 1915 San Diego Exposition and built late 1910s or  1920s.IMG_0008.jpgIMG_0007.jpgIMG_0006.jpg

  1. Bill, This looks so much like the pre-WWIII neighborhoods of Sacramento, California where I grew up (well physically if not emotionally grew up). Thanks for sharing – Mark Barnes
